Chaos Frame's Another Life mixes progressive metal technicality with a power metal sense of drama and melody. Stellar musicianship, especially in the soloing and drumming department. Synths are there to accompany, not dominate. The clean vocals are occasionally a little off, and the harsh ones could be better (but are used sparingly). Check out the reviews from Blistering and Metal Archives, and give it a spin.
