The Gathering - The West Pole from 2009 was a return to playing guitar driven music again, it was also the first album with new vocalist Silje Wergeland. Not metal, but all in all a solid album with post-rockish guitars, outstanding bass playing and some nice and warm melodies. Read the reviews from Sputnikmusik and check it out.
