Vasaeleth - Crypt Born & Tethered To Ruin

Cover art by Antichrist Kramer

Vasaeleth's Crypt Born & Tethered to Ruin From 2010 was added to the Profound Lore Bandcamp. It is very murky old school death metal that relies on raw atmosphere instead of technical flash. Read the review from Last Rites where Erik Thomas calls it an "icky cacophony", and this list from the esteemed Full Metal Attorney who says that Crypt Born & Tethered to Ruin gives the impression "that you're standing outside a demon-infested crypt at 3:00 a.m., and these are the sounds coming from inside".

  1. This is the first time I've heard it. It is sooo murky. Like Metal Review mentions, you almost need a shower after listening to it.
