I checked out Fiends of Feast - Shadows of Extinction after it got a "Best EP" mention in That's How Kid's Dies Top 10 Metal Albums of 2011. This is blackened death metal with passion, vitality and songs - it also has nice touches like a raw bass solo, acoustic guitar and even a haunting string section part.
