No Made Sense's New Season/New Blues is progressive metal. Not Dream Theater progressive, more like Mastodon progressive. There's a great variety in the vocals, from crusty bellows to the really high wails on I've Not Been. The album got a great live feel and a rough production where clanging strings clamber over each other. Here's a review from The NewReview.
