Mutilation Rites has released I Am Legion, a new 12 inch, in preparation of their debut full-length, Empyrean for Prosthetic Records. This is aggressive and raw black metal with elements of doom, crust, and lots of booze-soaked thrash. Mutilation Rites knows how to effortlessly switch from breakneck thrashing to well-oiled grooves, the three songs form a cohesive whole due to the well blended variety of styles and tempos. The physical release of I Am Legion is available from Gilead Media.
