This is very theatrical metal that fuses blackened hardcore, post-rock, and classical composition. Pained screams, turbulent percussion, frantic black metal riffing, and an emotional barometer that constantly veers between rage and helplessness. All of this contained on four short and concise tracks, unlike many bands in the post-black genre So Hideous, My Love... doesn't meander.
